Helping the Church become a safe place for the wounded.
Trauma may have changed your story, but it doesn't have to define your future.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Hi there! I’m Teresa!
I’m a speaker, teacher, and trauma-informed ministry leader with a heart for equipping the Church to respond to trauma with wisdom, compassion, and the hope of the Gospel.
After experiencing deep trauma in my own life—and not finding the support I needed in the Church—I became a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach. That journey ignited a passion to help others better understand the intersection of trauma and faith.
Today, I use biblical truth, powerful storytelling, and trauma education to help churches, leaders, and ministry teams recognize the unseen wounds people carry—and respond in ways that foster healing and restoration.
God wants to purpose our pain. He wants to redeem what’s been broken. And I believe the Church can be one of the most powerful places where that healing begins.

Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your forehead. Write them on the doorframes of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6: 8-9
We're talking about reminders. So we don't forget. When I was struggling, I needed reminders of God's goodness everywhere. Having tools and resources at your fingertips on your healing journey is so important, friend!
Most of us don’t go too far without our phone or mobile device. Why not put them on our phones as reminders and encouragement for your healing?
I have created a series of downloadable phone wallpapers to do just that. These are completely free and offer timely and needed reminders on your journey.
